Our Story
Hi, I'm Steph – a dietitian by background, but an animal lover at heart. I've shifted my focus to what brings me the most joy: caring for pets. With several years of experience owning all number of pets in wild and wonderful South Africa, and helping care for the pets of friends and colleagues in the UK, I founded Downward Dogz to support busy locals in keeping their pets happy, healthy, and well-loved. Because your furry friends deserve the best, even when life gets hectic. 🐾
In order to best equip myself for this new adventure, I have registered with & completed a business course in Pet Sitting & Dog Walking, including Canine & Feline First Aid, through NarpsUK. I am also currently studying courses in Advanced Canine Behaviour, Canine Health & Nutrition, as well as Reactive Dogs, through the British College of Canine Studies. I am DBS checked and fully insured as a pet sitter and dog walker, for my peace of mind and yours.

Findon and surrounds
At Downward Dogz, we believe that maximising the time spent with your furry companions is key to their happiness and well-being. To achieve this, we primarily maintain a 3-mile radius service area from our base in Findon for dog walking, ensuring that we can collect your pups quickly and dedicate more time to their adventures rather than being on the road. If you are based in Ferring or Angmering, however, please do inquire as to our availability in your area. For our house sitting and Reiki services, we are more than happy to travel further afield to accommodate your needs. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information!
